Summer Racing Season at San Mateo Jockey Club
San Mateo, CA (PRWEB) July 12, 2013 -- The San Mateo Jockey Club is excited to be hosting a variety of events throughout the summer racing season. Guests can catch live racing from all over the world in the comfort of the club while sipping cocktails and dining on food from the Turf Club’s broad menu.
The Southern California circuit moves from Hollywood Park to Del Mar on July 17. The thoroughbreds run at Del Mar through September 4, with the big Pacific Classic running on Sunday, August 25. The Jockey Club is giving away free Del Mar Cooler Packs on Saturday, August 10 to patrons with CalRacing cards. The cards are complimentary, and provide free admission on every seventh visit, a chance to win a $50 cash voucher every Sunday, and now, giveaway items on selected days. Racing in Northern California continues at the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton through July 9. After that the circuit moves to the California State Fair in Sacramento, July 10 through 23. Wine Country Racing follows Cal Expo, from July 24 to the August 13.
