Houston CIO Leadership Association Announces Recipients of 2019 CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards
Executives from Plains All American, BMC, Austin Industries, Camden Property Trust, WCA Waste Corporation and Texas Children's Hospital Recognized for their Achievements
HOUSTON, Mar. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Houston CIO Leadership Association (HoustonCIO) announced the winners of its 2019 CIO of the Year® ORBIE® Awards. HoustonCIO recognized chief information officers in six key categories – Super Global, Global, Large Enterprise, Enterprise, Corporate and Nonprofit/ Public Sector. The awards were presented at the Houston CIO of the Year Awards at Marriott Marquis.

›› Kristy Simonette, SVP Strategic Services & CIO, Camden Property Trust, received the Enterprise ORBIE, for organizations over $500 million annual revenue.
›› Antonio Marin, Former VP IT, WCA Waste Corporation, received the Corporate ORBIE, for organizations up to $500 million annual revenue.
›› Myra Davis, SVP & CIO, Texas Children's Hospital, received the Nonprofit/Public Sector ORBIE, for government, healthcare, education and not-for-profit organizations.
The CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards is the premier technology executive recognition program in the United States.
