More Than a Thousand Visitors Stopped by Hoveround’s Booth at the Senior Expo to Learn More about Its Power-Wheelchairs
St. Petersburg, FL (PRWEB) February 24, 2016 -- Hoveround’s booth at the recent Tampa Bay Senior Expo was buzzing with activity as over a thousand people stopped by during the five-hour event to learn more about the company and its full line of mobility solutions, which can be found at https://www.hoveround.com.
More than 60 companies were represented at the popular Expo; more than 2,500 people attended from the Bay area. A wide variety of exhibits, entertainment, seminars and health screenings were offered. Hoveround’s booth was well-attended, with hundreds stopping by in the first hour and well over a thousand during the 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. event.
“We learned a lot today about the things people want to know about Hoveround,” said Brenda Gaulin, Director of Marketing. “Most people still don’t know that a power wheelchair like Hoveround may be covered under their Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance.”
Visitors to the booth brought a variety of questions and comments. For example:
“My parents are in their 80s and still living independently at home,” said one booth visitor from St. Petersburg. “A Hoveround would give me piece of mind that they could continue to be safe in their day-to-day activities.”
Jim Kruse, Hoveround's Chief Operating Officer, was pleased with the turn-out as well as the responses.
“It’s always rewarding to get feedback from our customers,” he said, adding that, “It was great to be a part of this event and help support the local community.”
During the Expo, Hoveround handed out more than 500 promotional pens. In addition, attendees to the booth were given an opportunity to participate in a special giveaway: Those whose names were selected received an insulated drinking cup with the Hoveround logo. Winners were J. Hutchinson of Clearwater; K. Szubart, Holiday; D. Walls, and, J. Oakley, both of St. Pete.
