Sony Pictures Imageworks to Participate in 3DTraining Institute's “How to Land your Dream Job in 3D” Live-online Event on June 24, 2015
New York, NY (PRWEB) May 28, 2015 -- 3D Training Institute (3DTi) will host a live webinar featuring Rosie Server, Senior Recruiter for Sony Pictures Imageworks who will help aspiring artists understand what she looks for when hiring talent.
The live online event will also feature a video profile of Sony Pictures Imageworks VFX Supervisor, Daniel Kramer which will provide valuable information for anyone who has ever dreamed of working in the exciting movie industry. Rosie will also describe how graduates from 3D schools and aspiring artists can apply for scholarships and internships. This special event will be conducted on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, from 11 am – 12 pm PDT.
Sony Pictures Imageworks is the Academy Award-winning visual effects and animation unit of Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group known for live-action visual effects, dynamic creature and character animation and all-CG animation. Recent projects include American Sniper, Fury, Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America, 22 Jump Street, and The Amazing Spider-Max 2. They are currently in production on Pixels, Hotel Transylvania 2, the Angry Birds movie, Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass, and an Untitled Animated Smurfs Movie.
During the webinar, Rosie will explain what applicants need to know when applying for jobs. She will also share information on Imageworks' scholarship program and their internship program, and how and when to apply for these positions. Attendees will also be able to take part in a contest to have their reels professionally reviewed by an Imageworks recruiter.
This webinar is for everyone, from beginners who have been inspired by movies and want to explore a career in animation or visual effects to professionals who want to hear directly from a recruiter on where the jobs are and what it takes to get hired by one of the most highly respected studios in the world.
