Hudson Valley Fit Body Boot Camp Enlists Fitness Boot Camp Members to Raise Funds for Community
New Windsor, NY (PRWEB) September 26, 2014 -- As a company, Fit Body Boot Camp partners with non-profit groups all over the country to help those in need, from victims of domestic abuse to children who don’t have enough to eat. The international fitness boot camp also encourages individual locations to strive to help those in their own communities. The boot camps have become as well known for their charitable work as they are for their intense, fat-burning workouts.
Hudson Valley Fit Body Boot Camp is known locally for their participation in events for breast cancer awareness and other worthy causes and know they’ve launched their own Fit Body Boot Camp Cares team to seek out groups and individuals in need and to help them through fitness-related events.
“Our story is simple,” says Hudson Valley Fit Body Boot Camp owner Alex Panet. “We're a local gym comprised of individuals dedicated to changing people's lives through health and fitness.”
To help raise funds and awareness for the Fit Body Boot Camp Cares Team, Panet organized a virtual fundraiser through Crowdrise.com. “Were running the fundraiser through October 19, 2014 and our goal is to raise $5,000. We’ve gotten a very warm response and some great encouragement and so far we’ve raised $300 toward our goal.”
Those interested in donating can visit the fundraising page for the fitness boot camp or call or visit Hudson Valley Fit Body Boot Camp at 215 Quassaick Ave, New Windsor, New York.
“Our mission is to promote funding for local community members and organizations in need through events like, 5k's and 10k's, bike road races, mud runs, and other workout related fundraisers,” says Panet.
Panet is also hoping that neighbors and friends in the community will become a part of Fit Body Boot Camp and the FBBC Cares team offline as well.
“People in the community who join the Fit Body Boot Camp Cares Team will help make a difference in the lives of our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, friends and neighbors at times when they need it most. And that’s a tremendous privilege that we feel blessed to have,” adds Panet. “We’ll be able to help the people of the community live healthier lifestyles, but also to take part in helping others.”
