Sharing in the great outdoors with my fellow servicemen gave me a renewed sense of pride. I’ll never forget the experience.

McNett® Corporation is pleased to announce the 5th annual Hunting with Heroes™ Veterans appreciation weekend. Taking place this weekend, October 3-4 in Klickitat, WA, Hunting with Heroes is an all-inclusive weekend featuring VIP-guided fishing and hunting trips, free concerts, amazing BBQ and other great outdoors activities exclusively for the benefit of Veterans.

The event was started 5 years ago as an outlet to connect Veterans who are typically unwilling or unable to talk about their experiences with those who have not had the same experience. The weekend provides a reminder to local Veterans that many of their comrades are dealing with the same issues of stress and depression. By talking with one another and sharing their experiences, many Vets are able to find some sense of peace or understanding.

“Sharing in the great outdoors with my fellow servicemen gave me a renewed sense of pride,” said Lynn Vaughn, Patriot Guard Leader. “I’ll never forget the experience.”
