Hussar & Co., Inc.’s Managing Director Thomas PB Frater announced today the addition of János Hidasi, as Managing Director focused exclusively on real estate finance, valuation and other real estate transactional work for both sell and buy side clients. Mr. Frater stated, “With the increasing number of yielding properties coming to market, albeit under conventional or distressed circumstances, in addition to the a lack of liquidity in most European and CIS property markets, we felt the time to right to bolster our firms capabilities in the real estate sector. We are excited to be adding János to our senior management ranks and appreciate the deeply rooted real estate knowledge and market expertise he brings to our firm.”
Mr. Hidasi started his career at CITIBANK in syndicated lending and moved to Colliers in 1999 where he became head of the Hungarian and Slovakian valuation departments; executive director for Colliers International Hungary, managing director for valuation in Austria as well as a member of both the European and Global boards of valuation. During his tenure at Colliers, he valued individual properties as well as portfolios for HNWIs and institutional clients with a combined value of EUR 10 bln.
Mr. Hidasi holds four university degrees and was educated in both Hungary and the US. He is also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
