New book sends readers to outer space to escape global warming
MENAI BRIDGE, Wales (PRWEB) September 29, 2015 -- The inevitable threat of climate change forces humanity to leave the Earth in the form of androids in the new science fiction novel from Ian Gandon, “The PRIME8” (published by AuthorHouse UK).
When global warming threatens the Earth and causes regional conflicts, the United Nations and the G10 governments decide that it’s time to look elsewhere to live. The goal is to restart human life on another planet, and the U.N. nominates Quantum Future Technologies (QFT) to head the project, called Prime8.
At the head of the quantum computing and communications team is John Harker. He and his crew have their minds mapped onto androids, and the androids are sent to other planets while the humans remain in a coma-like stasis and are stored in a secure location on Earth. As the world collapses on itself, will these scientists fulfill their mission?
Fast-paced and packed with action, “The PRIME8” explores how humanity could continue its existence away from Earth and the costs that will have to be paid. With his book, Gandon hopes to leave readers with an entertaining story and a warning about how serious global warming is to the future of humanity.
