BOSTON, Dec. 1, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- iboss, the leader in cloud delivered network security, announces that Matt Hartley has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer. With more than 15 years of experience building and leading high performance and customer-focused go-to-market teams, Matt will help increase adoption of the firm's industry-leading Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) cloud network security services and Zero Trust Network Access (ZNTA) solution.
Hartley joins iboss from Forescout Technologies where he most recently served as Vice President, overseeing American Sales. During his tenure with the firm, Hartley built a team that signed several notable clients, including multiple Fortune 500 organizations. With Hartley's guidance, Forescout also completed landmark agreements to deploy its technology across Federal enterprise cybersecurity programs overseen by the United States Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense.
"Covid-19 has accelerated a shift to remote work and that shift has exposed vulnerabilities for organizations that haven't yet embraced modern security solutions," said Paul Martini, iboss Co-founder and CEO. "This is in part due to the fact that every organization today relies on the latest cloud software and applications to effectively do their jobs. iboss proudly offers seamless cloud migration and leading security solutions to ensure safety and uninterrupted productivity regardless of user location. As a result, we've partnered with many of the world's largest organizations that recognized the need for network security delivered through the cloud."
"Covid-19 has accelerated what iboss has known for years; that security needs to live in the cloud in order to effectively protect users no matter where they go," said Hartley. "As cases of the virus spike around the world and remote work policies endure, iboss appeals to organizations large and small looking to seamlessly implement cutting-edge security solutions."
As the most advanced SASE and Zero Trust platform, iboss is transforming the enterprise network security market. The company's platform eliminates the need for traditional network security appliances by delivering its best-in-class network security capabilities in the cloud. Its cutting-edge technology is built on unique, patented containerized architecture and microservices, that ensure safety while allowing for automatic scaling to ensure fast and reliable connections.
Prior to Forescout, Hartley served as General Manager and Senior Vice President of Optio Labs and Head of Federal Sales at MobileIron. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and holds an MBA from the University of Maryland.
