ICDC College Hosts Oklahoma Tornado Disaster Relief Fundraiser
(PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- ICDC College faculty, administration, staff and students recently hosted a Tornado Disaster Relief fundraiser to support the residents of Oklahoma that were adversely affected by the devastating tornadoes that ripped through the state last month. All proceeds from the benefit were donated to America ICARE, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides comprehensive support for military personnel and their families. America ICARE has elected to donate all funds to the American Red Cross, Los Angeles Region Headquarters.
“ICDC College is proud to support America ICARE and the American Red Cross in their effort to provide recovery relief to the citizens of Oklahoma during this difficult time. We thank America ICARE for their work in providing comprehensive services to our men and women in uniform, and the American Red Cross for their humanitarian efforts to military service members and citizens worldwide,” said ICDC College’s Chief Academic Officer.
ICDC College presented a check in the amount of $1,001.00 dollars to America ICARE’s Board Treasurer at the Foundation’s headquarters located in West Los Angeles.
“We wish to thank ICDC College for supporting those recently affected by the recent Oklahoma tornadoes,” he said. “The America ICARE Foundation is proud to donate all funds to support our community partner, the American Red Cross in its continual efforts to provide disaster relief to help Oklahoma military and civilian families recover from this devastation.”
