Alex Vera of IDL Worldwide Selected as Top 40 Under 40 by Design Retail
Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) May 04, 2015 -- IDL Worldwide is pleased to announce that Alex Vera, Director of Creative Services at IDL Worldwide has been selected by design:retail as one of the publication’s Top 40 Under 40. Alex was nominated based on his business accomplishments, professional expertise and involvement with the retail design community.
Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in New York City. After his studies, Alex went on to work as a Designer and Creative Director for several prestigious, retail-centric firms, where he designed and deployed initiatives for some of the world’s most recognized consumer and retail brands, including Starbucks, Nike, and Coca-Cola. With over 16 years in the industry, Alex has an extensive background in architecture, interactive retail systems, print design/development, retail strategy and fixture design.
In his first two years at IDL, Alex helped to land some of the most significant product launches in company history for the largest and most respected global consumer electronics, footwear, apparel and beverage brands in the world, all the while optimizing his design team to deliver broader scalability and creative thinking. In his role as Director of Creative Services for IDL, Alex is based out of our Portland, OR brand center, leading and mentoring a team of over 40 designers in multiple studios. The team’s multi-disciplinary approach spans across industrial, print, 2D and 3D design capabilities.
