IllusionPhotograph.com Sets Out to Raise $150,000 for Living Heart Peru by End of Year
SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) March 05, 2019 -- While many companies are known to flex their philanthropic muscles, one company is going above and beyond to support charity with dignity. IllusionPhotograph.com, the maker of stunning artisan phone and wallet cases has the goal to raise $150,000 USD by end of 2019 to support Living Heart Peru, the non-profit that helps develop self-sustaining agriculture, health and education initiatives in remote, impoverished highland communities above Peru’s Sacred Valley.
The money raised will go toward building a library and bring in medical and education tools and materials. According to IllusionPhotograph.com Founder Beatrice Pitocco, this project is a progressive step to eradicate the mindset of poverty in this area.
The partnership has also encouraged the children of Peru to participate in the betterment of their lives. Pitocco has turned their art and drawings into phone cases available in her Living Heart Case Collection. In doing so, she wanted to show these children the impact their contributions have on society.
“Illusionphotograph.com wants to offer hope, above all else, so that no individual man, woman or child, feels that they are not able to change their life,” she explained.
Once the money is raised, Pitocco would like to return to Peru, and film, or document the difference made while taking customers of Illusionphotograph.com on the journey of working with these deserving groups. For any item purchased on the website, $5.00 will be donated to Living Heart Peru.
Illusionphotograph.com first began working with Living Heart Peru in 2016. The charity itself is near and dear to Pitocco’s heart. Going through a series of hardships, she made the decision to give back.
“The only way out of my impending depression was through selflessness and through not thinking about my own self,” Pitocco said. “After some research on non-government funded organizations, I found Living Heart Peru and after a brief conversation with the director, I made it my mission to try and figure out a way to impact the lives of the children the charity supported.”
