Founding attorneys Gary Bell Jr. and Bradley B. Pollock stand behind efforts by Mothers Against Drunk Driving and other organizations to raise awareness about the consequences of drunk and drugged driving throughout Colorado.

As we’ve discovered through talking to accident victims and via our weekly podcast, drunk and drugged driving is a major public safety concern across the state.

Commenting on a Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Colorado State Office release detailing a number of events designed to raise awareness over the dangers of drunk driving, Denver car accident attorney Gary Bell Jr. of Bell & Pollock, P.C. said today the firm stands behind all efforts to reduce drunk driving accidents and fatalities across Colorado.

Bell, an attorney in Denver with over 39 years’ experience and partner of MADD Colorado, based his comments on a number of events listed on the MADD’s Colorado Office website. Among them, MADD’s 2014 Candlelight Vigil was scheduled to be held in mid-November to honor and remember victims and survivors involved in drunk and drugged driving accidents.

“Bell & Pollock, P.C. is a Denver law firm that listens to the concerns of Colorado residents. As we’ve discovered through talking to accident victims and via our weekly podcast, drunk and drugged driving is a major public safety concern across the state,” Bell said. “That’s what makes events such as MADD’s candlelight vigil so important. People hit by drunk drivers shouldn’t be forgotten after they’ve been injured or killed in an accident.”

According to MADD’s Colorado State Office, the vigil was slated to take place at the Studios at Overland Crossing in Denver on November 15. On the site, MADD also urged teen drivers to sign up as the Power of You(th) Red Ribbon Week 2014 to raise awareness about the dangers of drunk driving for teenagers.

Attorney Bradley B. Pollock, who co-founded Bell & Pollock, P.C. in 1984, stressed the critical role that organizations such as MADD play in preventing drunk driving accidents in Denver and throughout Colorado.

“Our firm is proud of our partnership with Mothers Against Drunk Driving,” Pollock explained. “We have served as a ‘Victims Sponsor’ at the annual August walk at Sloan’s Lake Park. We participate in the MADD bowl-a-thon. Our firm is represented annually at the candlelight vigil. Our job as attorneys reaches beyond working to help accident victims obtain the compensation necessary to get their lives back on track. Our responsibility is to raise awareness about critical public safety issues such as drunk driving and to do our part to make sure tragic accidents are prevented on Colorado’s roads and highways.”
