Incentive Solutions President & CEO Mark Herbert Clowns Around for a Cause
ATLANTA (PRWEB) November 15, 2018 -- Mark Herbert, President and CEO of Incentive Solutions, will again serve as a member of the Distinguished Clown Corps, helping to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta (CHOA). Each year, Atlanta’s business and community leaders trade in their business attire for outlandish costumes, colorful wigs and red noses in an effort to support pediatric heath care within the state of Georgia.
On Saturday, Dec. 1, Herbert joins the other Distinguished Clowns at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston Hospital on the Emory University campus where they will visit with young patients and their families, bringing enthusiasm, positivity and holiday cheer. They will then march in the annual Children’s Christmas Parade in Midtown, gifting the gathered crowd with smiles and holiday presents.
“It’s a worthy cause that benefits pediatric care facilities for children here in our own backyard,” Herbert said. “Everything we do on that day is made possible due to internal donations: acquiring the costumes, having make-up artists put our look together, renting the buses, and buying the gifts. That means 100 percent of the money raised goes directly to the children. The smiles we put on these great kids’ faces by spreading holiday cheer brings me back to this amazing event, now for the eighth straight year."
Funds raised by Herbert and the Distinguished Clown Corps this year will benefit the Center for Advanced Pediatrics, a new 260,000-square-foot facility in Brookhaven, that will put complex care specialists, state-of-the-art technology and leading-edge research for outpatient pediatric care under one roof for the first time in Georgia.
He will be accepting contributions on his personal donation page at CHOA.org through Nov. 30. While each Distinguished Clown must raise a minimum of $1,500, Herbert’s fundraising goal is $4,500.
