REMI’s CEO Advises Increase in Internet Marketing
Newport, CA (PRWEB) July 08, 2013 -- Tobias Nergarden, director and CEO of the Real Estate Marketing Insider released a statement expressing his support for the internet as a key component of a successful real estate marketing strategy. Mr. Nergarden said that as more real estate business is done online, having an advertising and marketing presence on the internet becomes more important, especially for agents and professionals who work in multiple and widespread markets.
Mr. Nergarden announced his opinions following the publication of a July 3 press release by ARME Realty, which showed that online advertising has resulted in an increase in business for real estate professionals. The report announced the results of a survey of 250 real estate professionals from around the United States. These 250 professionals, all of whom spend at least $500 per month on internet marketing, were asked to report increases or decreases in the amount of internet traffic generated by their online marketing and advertising programs. 87 percent of those surveyed reported an increase in the amount of web traffic, a meteoric 32 percent rise from this time last year. Experts have attributed this growth largely to the recovery of the real estate market, but also of mention are the ever-growing options for internet marketing, including Google Places and social marketing tie-ins, that may not have been available or as widespread a year ago.
Mr. Nergarden released this statement regarding the issue of internet marketing for real estate:
“The Real Estate Marketing Insider believes that the internet is the single most powerful tool at a real estate agent’s disposal for growing a business. Virtually the entire modern client base for realty practices uses the internet for business, entertainment, and even shopping. A web presence is all but a necessity to reach these prospective clients at home. Furthermore, intelligent use of marketing and advertising tools can make internet marketing more valuable than the other, older forms of real estate advertising.”
Tobias Nergarden of the Real Estate Marketing Insider released a statement advising realtors and real estate professionals to increase their internet marketing and advertising efforts. This advice came from new data suggesting that internet traffic to real estate websites is increasing every year.
