India Adda is back at Davos 2014
New Delhi (PRWEB) January 09, 2014 -- India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) will be back with India Adda at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2014, scheduled to be held from January 22-25, 2014 at Davos. Enlivened by engaging conversations involving corporate leaders, social entrepreneurs, citizen groups, academia and media all in the warmth of Indian hospitality, the India Adda is set up adjacent and outside Café Schneider on the Promenade at Davos. Luminaries like former US President Bill Clinton, Prime Minister of United Kingdom David Cameron, and Indra Nooyi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo, among many others, have been hosted at India Adda.
“India Adda, over the years, has emerged as the hub for conversations on India. India Adda 2014 brings to life a vibrant rendition of the traditional miniature style that was popular across Indian princely courts. This art form brilliantly personifies an artistic continuum that has lived through the times. Typically such art form in the yesteryears elegantly portrayed in deep, vibrant colours the natural landscape, the monumental forts as also scenes from courts and illustrations of battles. We have though added another artistic layer to it. Leveraging the richness of India’s unique arts in vivid colour and detail, a body of imagery has been built in miniature art form to offer a panoramic view of the business trends that have shaped India,” said Aparna Dutt Sharma, CEO, IBEF.
The Made in India label will also be prominent at the Adda through the display of tea, coffee, wines and chocolates from India, courtesy of the Tea, Coffee and Spices Board(s) of India and APEDA. India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) is partnering with Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces this year, one of the finest hospitality companies from India.
Tasked with nation branding for India, IBEF has been setting up the India Adda at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum, Davos, in recent years.
A series of meetings engaging the Government of India and Indian business organisations with their global peers and members of the media makes the India Adda truly the hub of conversations on India.
Brand India’s message will be further brought pointedly to bear by a sharp communication campaign on site at Davos.
The WEF meet is based on the theme of The Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Society, Politics and Business and India Adda is set to be abuzz again with ideas and perspectives on the world and India. As we head towards Davos 2014, the global debate has shifted significantly, from navigating through an extremely volatile environment towards managing a rather shaky recovery.
Amidst the changing market dynamics, India Adda presents an opportunity to probe the India business reality, the market aspirations, the transformative competitive landscape and the compelling policy issues.
