EC-Council launches Global CISO Forum - The Podcast for Information Security Executives
Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) March 18, 2015 -- The Global CISO Forum Podcast starts with a conversation about current events and trends in the information security industry with an infosec veteran sharing insights about the latest hack in the headlines. Next, a current information security professional is interviewed in depth about his or her career and the changes they have seen in the industry and the CISO role since the beginning of their career. The idea is to help the aspiring executives as well as information security managers in planning their careers to take the next step.
In talking about why the podcasting format is suited for this kind of education, Senior Director of EC-Council, Eric Lopez, says “Execs don’t always have the time to dedicate to keeping up with the latest infosec conversations, but many of them have the time to multitask. Whether it’s during their commute, at the gym, or while doing some other task that doesn’t need their full attention, we find they like the chance to do some professional development on their own time.”
A new segment recently added to the show called “C|CISO Study Session” is aimed at anyone studying for EC-Council Certified Chief Information Security Officer exam. An infosec expert discusses a possible exam question and each of the possible multiple choice answers before deciding on the best answer, explaining his thought process and the idea behind each question.
