INOX to debut new TwistLock™ for pocket doors at DHI conNextions
CLEVELAND (PRWEB) November 05, 2019 -- INOX, engineer of innovative and premium decorative hardware and door locks, will showcase its new TwistLock™ at DHI conNextions in Cleveland, Ohio, from November 6 to 7 in booth 641. The new INOX product is the industry’s first pocket door hardware to offer both a lock and an edge pull that rotates to easily slide the door open or closed.
“Traditional pocket doors typically offer locking mechanisms that are unreliable or difficult to implement,” said Jeff Howes, President of INOX. “TwistLock’s Stainless Steel design makes for a seamless, smooth transition when locking the door. INOX is one of the few companies in the market to offer this option for this style of pocket door hardware and we are proud to offer engineers, designers and spec writers a high-quality option for their residential projects.”

The unique “twist lock” feature of INOX’s newest offering provides a reliable locking function with a strike. When turned horizontally, a stop at the back of the lock body works in conjunction with the hub to rotate the edge pull 90 degrees in a secure locking position. When the edge pull returns to the vertical position, the door can be pulled open and the edge pull can be pushed back into the lock where it will remain until it is activated again. INOX is one of the few companies in the market to provide this type of locking mechanism in Stainless Steel and the INOX TwistLock is the only product of its kind that is available with Concealed Fastener Trim.
In addition to TwistLock, INOX will be displaying several other new products, including:
- The PD96 features a built-in mechanical auto-latching and auto-locking function and is the only sliding door lock to combine an auto-locking feature and accomplish all five common lockset functions.
- INOX’s PD97 is the industry’s first motor-driven electromechanical mortise lock for sliding doors. The PD97 can work with any type of access control, from keypads to fingerprint or retinal scanning and features an Advanced Zephyr Motor.
