Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) April 29, 2016
Airbag Attorney and Inventor Jason Turchin announces that he has been issued a Trademark for his “Inspectable Airbag System” by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The Trademark has been assigned Registration Number 4,921,533 and is listed on the Principal Register. The Trademark is related to airbags for vehicles, a steering wheel attachment, steering wheels for vehicles, and vehicle parts.
Turchin introduced the Inspectable Airbag System as a means of preventing airbag injuries and deaths by permitting the inspection of a vehicle airbag during routine vehicle maintenance. The issuance of the Trademark follows Turchin’s recent patent application filing for an airbag system which allows for the inspection of an airbag and its inflator canister during a routine vehicle inspection, and can help identify signs of rust, corrosion, and metal deterioration or expansion prior to an accident. A patent application detailing the system was filed under Patent Application Serial Number 14/990,243 and is now “patent pending”.
Turchin developed the system after representing several people injured by defective airbags. Many of these injuries, Turchin believes, could have been prevented if the airbags had the ability for inspection prior to the crashes.
“The Inspectable Airbag System offers a safe solution to the current airbag models in tens of millions of vehicles on the roads,” said Turchin. “This system allows vehicle owners to get their airbags inspected much like they would their engine, brakes or tires. There should be no reason to wait until your airbag explodes in a crash to find out that your airbag is bad.”
