Distinguished poets such as Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickerson, Robert Frost, William Shakespeare, Langston Hughes, Phillis Wheatley and Maya Angelou have inspired Rev. William E. Smith to pen his own collection of poetry that reflects life and its many wonders.
A book that can be read by all ages, “Inspired Poetry Writings” (published by Trafford Publishing in April 2006) is a unique compilation that aims to evoke relatable emotions. “It’s inspirational, hilarious, realistic, and exciting. Something new, something different,” says Smith. “It will surely make your day a day of excitement, laughter and of great pleasure.”
Giving readers a sense of familiarity, “Inspired Poetry Writings” hopes to make readers laugh and cry at every experience they can come across and relate with. “All things are possible. Trust, commitment, and dedication will always give a positive outcome when all else fails. Poetry is alive and well when truth is being told,” Smith concludes.
