Ferndale Restaurant Week: Inspiration Uncorked Serves Up Art with Food
Ferndale, MI (PRWEB) October 08, 2013 -- Inspiration Uncorked, Ferndale’s newest DIY art studio, opened its doors last week, and is celebrating the art and culture of the city by partnering with Ferndale Restaurant Week to offer diners a $5 discount on interactive art classes.
Inspiration Uncorked is serving up different art classes each night during Ferndale Restaurant Week. Diners who participate in Restaurant Week can present a receipt at Inspiration Uncorked and receive $5 off seats in the class for everyone in their group. The discount is only available via phone and the classes are great for date night or a group of friends.
Founder and owner Mary Higgins wants diners taking advantage of Restaurant Week to continue their entertainment after dinner is over, and enjoy a nightcap while creating art with friends in her studio. “All you need is a little time, and a little wine,” says Higgins, “and poof! You’re an artist!”
Ferndale is celebrating Ferndale Restaurant Week from October 7th through 13th, with over 20 eateries participating in the inaugural event. The intention is to showcase the diversity of choices the city has to offer, and Inspiration Uncorked is highlighting the artistic nature of Ferndale’s community with classes that include silk scarf painting and Kumihimo braiding.
Diners who turn to Inspiration Uncorked as a creative and relaxing way to end their evening can check online for classes offered, and are invited to bring a date, a group of friends, or come alone. “I love the idea that a few girlfriends could go out and experience a new restaurant and a new project every night of the week,” said Higgins. “I especially think our Wine Glass Painting classes are perfect for Restaurant Week!”
