Halloween Fun for Everyone in Ferndale at Inspiration Uncorked
Ferndale, MI: (PRWEB) October 15, 2013 -- Inspiration Uncorked, downtown Ferndale’s newest DIY Art Studio, brings together the creative and the spooky during Halloween week. From October 25th through Halloween, the studio is offering family-friendly classes inspired by the season. Students are invited to attend class in costume and bring friends and their kids too. Taking a favorite beverage to class is encouraged while they create Halloween themed works of art that can be taken home at the end of the class.
Owner Mary Higgins, a former school teacher in Bloomington Hills, opened Inspiration Uncorked to make art a possibility for everyone. Inspiration Uncorked offers art classes for children and adults, and requires no experience. The large studio space is relaxing and fun. Expert instructors guide students through each step of the creative process. Guests are encouraged to bring a bottle of wine and a snack to enjoy during their class. “You don’t need to be a painter or an artist to have fun with us,” says Higgins. “I opened Inspiration Uncorked to bring art to everyone. Halloween is a really fun time of year, and I want both kids and adults to enjoy it!”
This Halloween, Higgins is featuring several Halloween inspired classes to offer Trick-or-Treaters a chance to experience the fun of the holidays in a new way. Kids can make their own Candy Corn epoxy clay pendant necklace to wear on Halloween, or come in costume to paint a pumpkin in a fun group setting. Adults can take advantage of Spooky Wine Glass Painting during Inspiration Uncorked’s painting party, and then enjoy a glass of wine in their unique glasses when they come back for the costume contest. The full class list includes Halloween Inspired Wine Glass Painting, Candy corn epoxy clay pendant, pumpkin painting for Kids, Spooky Wine Glass Painting with a costume contest, a pumpkin patch pastel chalk class, and Open studio time and Trick or Treating.
On Halloween Day, Inspiration Uncorked is opening its doors for a four hour open studio where trick-or-treaters can finish painting their pumpkins, create a wearable work of art, and spend creative time with friends. That afternoon, kids, teens, and adults are invited to the come back for Trick or Treating, and stay for a BYOB pastel chalk drawing class.
