Shortages of foreign produced engines are common in the second hand engines industry due to the import restrictions for some brands of automobiles.

The Integra series of vehicles was introduced by Honda in the 1985 production year. This vehicle series remained in production until 2006 and replacement parts shortages can be common for some parts buyers. The Got Engines company has now added the Integra engine in used condition online for JDM engine buyers.

These engines are added in different configurations to support the different vehicle brands. The 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0 motors that were used through the entire production run of the Integra are now part of the motors that are featured for sale. Both the Honda and Acura versions of these engines are now added online.

The Got Engines additions of JDM engines inventory this year has improved the amount of foreign engines available for U.S. distribution. More than one engine brand has been added for immediate sale online in the Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Acura builds.

"Shortages of foreign produced engines are common in the second hand engines industry due to the import restrictions for some brands of automobiles," a source for the company said.

The replacement Honda motor vehicle engines now available for online sale are eligible for the new warranty protection plans that are offered. The Got Engines company has changed its policies for warranty coverage in 2013 and all import motors are eligible for extended levels of protection.

"The imported engines now featured on the company website are added to as new suppliers are entered into the company supply chain," the source added.

The company is currently making adjustments to its complete inventory of automotive engines listed online for the end of the year. These adjustments include removing engines that are no longer in production or units that are new to the preowned market. This is expected to create a larger resource of engines that are in demand from U.S. buyers next year.

The company sells replacement automobile engines that are heavily discounted for U.S. buyers. This company uses a combined network of distributors and other automotive suppliers to hold an inventory available of preowned engines online. The company staff offers support services by toll-free telephone number and online customer contact systems. The limited warranty plans this company provides with each engine for sale is a new policy change this year to increase the long-term use of the used engines distributed to buyers.
