One of our firm’s best attributes is that we share a really strong work ethic, from the attorneys to the paralegals to the support staff.

Five attorneys from Atlanta law firm Hill, Kertscher & Wharton, LLP were recently recognized as the state’s “Legal Elite” by Georgia Trend Magazine. This recognition has special significance because it is based entirely on voting by other attorneys licensed to practice in the state, and provides an insider’s view into who the legal industry believes are its most accomplished lawyers.

Co-founding partner, Doug Kertscher, believes the honor reflects on the hard work and results the firm has achieved for clients over many years. “One of our firm’s best attributes is that we share a really strong work ethic, from the attorneys to the paralegals to the support staff,” said Kertscher. “Clients know they can rely on our expertise, but also that we will never be outworked by the other side, whether it’s the negotiation of a business deal or a high-stakes court case.”

In addition to the Legal Elite honor, four HKW attorneys were also recognized in 2015 by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters publication. They are Hill, Kertscher, North and Martha Decker, who was named to the list of Rising Stars for the second consecutive year.
