Couples Express Their Valentine's Love in a Different Way This Year
El Dorado Hills, Calif. (PRWEB) February 20, 2015 -- February is the time of year where love is openly celebrated. Many indulge their significant others with chocolates, roses, and romantic getaways on this day. But IntelliQuote and their fellow insurance industry leaders is urging the public to forfeit the usual Valentine Day fare for one that’s more…the unexpected.
This is the official start of the nonprofit LIFE Foundation’s “Insure Your Love” campaign. For seven years, this campaign has been used by industry professionals to connect with people in order to remind them that buying a life insurance policy represents the love they feel for their family, and their desire to keep them financially protected.
“We always look forward to promoting the ‘Insure Your Love’ campaign,” said Gary Lardy, President and CEO of IntelliQuote. “The messaging is simple; life insurance is the very best way to insure those you love.”
Red + White: February Represents Love…and Snow
Many link the second month of the year to sentimental emotions, like love and romance, and to the colors red and pink, particularly on Valentine’s Day.
However, February can also represent white, as in the color of snow. Three of the country’s worst blizzards took place during this month, including two that broke snowfall records in parts of the Mid-Atlantic region in 2010.
Many states on the East Coast were blanketed in white during the recent Blizzard of 2015.
Winter storms are responsible for serious ice and snow-related automobile accidents, so purchasing an insurance policy for family members during this season is another way that customers can show their loved ones how much they care. Throughout the month of February, IntelliQuote will be promoting the “Insure Your Love” campaign and educating the public, using content such as blog posts, to help spread the word.
