Interapt Launches 2014 in New Space at The Nucleus
Louisville, KY (PRWEB) January 09, 2014 -- Interapt is excited to announce it has agreed to lease office space in The Nucleus, a beautiful building in downtown Louisville’s Nucleus Innovation Park that was newly opened in October and is the first of four planned University of Louisville research, technology and office buildings.
As part of the ongoing development of University of Louisville’s new research park situated in the Haymarket district of downtown Louisville, The Nucleus is meant to provide business management and consulting services to entrepreneurs whose businesses employ innovative and emerging technologies.
Once completed, all Nucleus Innovation Park facilities park will feature wet/dry research laboratories, clean room technology, and of course, professional office space. But what attracted Interapt to The Nucleus was an integral part of its mission that clearly aligns with Interapt’s own: driving innovation through concept evaluation and product development. Also evident was the fact that The Nucleus is not confined to the University of Louisville, as it also has numerous partnerships in Louisville’s local business community.
Interapt CEO Ankur Gopal arranged the agreement primarily through Bob Saunders, Chairman & Co-founder of XLerateHealth, managing partner of Saunders, Murdoch & Associates, and former managing director of Chrysalis Ventures. "Interapt is in a strong growth phase, and has enjoyed its fourth consecutive year of growth," says Gopal. "In 2013, we more than doubled the size of our team in our Louisville office alone, and also began working with some of the largest companies in the world."
What made The Nucleus the right choice for Interapt? Gopal: "The Nucleus was a good fit for us given the innovative work we are doing in multiple industries. When Bob and I spoke about our work in Healthcare, we realized there were opportunities for Interapt and XLerateHealth to collaborate.
