Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops LED Traffic-Signal Accessory (STU-1763)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) September 13, 2014 -- "Unlike older traffic signals that use incandescent light bulbs that generate heat and burn off snow, LED traffic signals produce very little heat," said an inventor from Coalville, Utah. "I came up with this device to melt snow and ice from LED traffic signals for optimal visibility."
He developed the L E D SNOW MELTER to prevent snow and ice from accumulating on LED traffic-signal lenses. The accessory ensures that motorists can see the lights clearly. The invention reduces the risk of potential collisions, which is designed to enhance roadway safety, especially at intersections. The unit features automatic operation. Additionally, it is adaptable for use with any LED traffic signal.
The original design was submitted to the Salt Lake City office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
