Pittsburgh-based InventHelp, founded in 1984, is submitting this idea, the Dermaplane, to companies for their review.

"In my experience as an aesthetician, I’ve seen women with facial hair due to hormonal problems," said one of two inventors from Sanger, Calif. "They need an effective and skin-safe way to remove this hair, so we conceived of our design."

The patent-pending Dermaplane is an easy-to-use accessory that enables a woman to remove facial hair easily without any pain or discomfort. It maintains good-looking, healthy skin, which promotes self-esteem. Producible in design variations, it's suitable for home or salon use.

The original design was submitted to the Fresno office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
