InventHelp, a Pittsburgh-based inventor service company, is submitting the Root Protector to applicable companies for their review and possible feedback.

Tired of gophers eating the plants in her newly landscaped area, an inventor from Modesto, Calif., decided that there needed to be a reliable way to prevent them from doing this. She then created a prototype of an idea.

The Root Protector provides reliable rodent protection in order to prevent the rodents from damaging or eating the plant's roots. This eliminates the need for replacement, which saves money, and it promotes good-looking outdoor property. The invention is easy to use and suitable for households, landscapers, gardeners and farmers.

The original design was submitted to the Fresno office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
