Improved Closure for Golf Cart Cover Invented by InventHelp Client (OKK-356)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 09, 2014 -- For those that enjoy playing golf but don’t appreciate the hassle of dealing with a zipper closure on a golf cart cover when it rains, we’ve got the perfect solution. An inventor from Ada, Okla., has simplified the process for a more enjoyable golfing experience.
He developed the patent-pending Cart Comfort Kit to save time and effort when fastening the door panels of a golf cart cover. The novel design makes it easier to use than a conventional zipper closure. As such, it eliminates the need for a golf cart owner to replace the cover because of a broken zipper. It is, therefore, cost effective and durable enough to withstand wear and tear.
What’s more, it is more convenient and practical than standard closures. Another advantage is that it allows the golfer to enter and leave the cart more quickly. In addition, it eliminates the hassle and aggravation of dealing with a worn or damaged zipper.
The inventor was inspired to create this improvement because he had difficulties closing his golf cart cover. “I found the zippers frustrating and time consuming, since they wear out long before the cover itself,” he said. “Therefore, I wanted to find an easier way to open and close the cover door. I've tested this for three years, and 30- to 40-mph winds won't blow these doors open."
The original design was submitted to the Oklahoma City office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
