InventHelp Client's Accessory Allows For Quicker Drawing of a Pepper-Spray Canister (HSC-532)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) September 29, 2014 -- "I work in security, and one day I was practicing my pepper-spray draw," said an inventor from Houston, Texas. "No matter how many times I drew the canister, the action was clumsy and distracting." Since this was due to the style of holster, he was inspired to design a more draw-friendly model.
He then created a prototype of the Whippet, which allows for the quicker drawing of a pepper-spray canister during an emergency. It prevents struggle and distraction, enables the user to focus on the perpetrator(s) and promotes safety. It also encourages use of non-lethal force by making OC spray more accessible. This easy-to-use holster is ideal for police officers and security personnel.
The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
