Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is submitting this idea, the AIR PORT (INFLATION NEEDLE) to companies for their review.

“I thought there needed to be a simple way to enhance stability when inflating basketballs and other sports balls,” said an inventor, from Santa Fe, N.M., “so I invented the AIR PORT (INFLATION NEEDLE).”

The AIR PORT (INFLATION NEEDLE) provides added stability when inflating a sports ball. In doing so, it will help to prevent broken needles. As a result, it eliminates hassles and frustrations of bent, broken and useless needles. The patented invention features a durable design that is convenient and easy to use so it is ideal for sports enthusiasts. Additionally, the AIR PORT (INFLATION NEEDLE) is producible in color variations and a prototype is available.

The inventor described the invention design. “My design helps to prevent bent and broken needles.”
