Pittsburgh-based InventHelp was founded in 1984, and is submitting Alexander's Easy Scaler to companies in the hopes of a good faith review.

Would you like to enjoy the fish you just caught for dinner but without the hassle and mess of scaling the fish? Luckily, an inventor from Philadelphia, Pa., has found an easy way to get that fish onto your plate.

He developed ALEXANDER'S EASY SCALER to provide a quick and effective way to remove scales from fish to prepare for cooking. It not only saves time and energy in meal preparation but is also safer than conventional scaling knives.

Therefore, it eliminates the possibility of cuts and scrapes to hands and is designed to protect the user and counter tops against back spray. Furthermore, it is easy to assemble, operate, clean and maintain. In addition, it is convenient, portable and affordably priced. What's more, it is compact and easy to store.

The inventor's experience as a fisherman inspired the idea. "I enjoy having fish for dinner and wanted to find a way to scale the fish that was easier and quicker than using a knife," he said.

The original design was submitted to the Philadelphia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
