InventHelp® Client's Design Makes Replacing Vehicle Batteries Less of a Hassle (CBA-2275)

A South Carolina InventHelp client has invented the Extender, which is being submitted to companies for review.

An inventor from Pelion, S.C., has developed an invention that aids the user in installing a new automotive battery. As the inventor explained, "As a retired mechanic, I've seen this problem time and time again when removing the factory battery and installing a new battery. Too often, the cables that come in most automobiles don't allow for adaptation to a new style of battery. My invention solves this problem and makes installing a new battery less of a hassle."

His design, the EXTENDER, makes it easier and less of a hassle to install a new vehicle battery and also allows for a wider variety of replacement batteries in a vehicle. Ideal for use by individuals who prefer to work on their own cars instead of paying a mechanic, the invention eliminates the need to take the vehicle to a mechanic to have a battery replaced. Additionally, it is designed for use with any style of vehicle and is producible in design variations.

The original design was submitted to the Columbia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
