Automobile Security System Invented by InventHelp Clients (KPD-189)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 21, 2014 -- With the incidence of car theft on the rise, it is more important than ever to do everything you can to ensure this does not happen to you. Fortunately, two inventors from Philadelphia, Pa., have found a way to help.
They developed PERSONAL ALERT to eliminate the need to carry a separate alert device. All you need is this device to reduce the chances that your car will be damaged or stolen. As such, it allows a victim whose vehicle is compromised to contact the police in a timely manner and, thus, promotes the apprehension of perpetrators of vehicle-related crimes. Furthermore, it eliminates the expense of having to replace a stolen vehicle or repair a damaged one. Another advantage is that it functions automatically with no effort on the part of the user. Perhaps, most important, it affords a car owner the peace of mind that the car and its contents are safe.
The inventors' personal experience inspired the idea. "We live in an urban area with a high crime rate and wanted to protect ourselves against vehicle theft and vandalism,” one of them said. "We also felt uneasy hearing a car alarm and not knowing if it was ours."
The original design was submitted to the King of Prussia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
