InventHelp® Client Develops Children's Safety Accessory for Vehicles (DVR-664)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) April 08, 2014 -- When you turn on the news in the summertime, undoubtedly you'll see a report every few weeks about a child dying from hyperthermia because he or she was left in a vehicle unattended. Such deaths are doubly tragic - because the victim is so young and innocent, and because the death was preventable. In order to stop these needless deaths, an inventor from Thornton, Colo., created a prototype for the BABY ON BOARD MINDER.
The patent-pending accessory reminds the driver that there is a child on board. This safeguards a baby from being left behind in the back seat of a vehicle. The invention helps prevent injuries and deaths, which is designed to enhance safety. Furthermore, the device is usable in any vehicle.
The inventor's concern for children inspired his idea. "Each year, children die because they are left in a vehicle unattended," he said. "These deaths are both tragic and preventable. That is why I came up with a way to stop parents and caregivers from forgetting their child when they exit the vehicle."
The original design was submitted to the Denver office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
