InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit this idea, the Beach Bar, to applicable companies for their consideration.

An inventor from Warwick, R.I., wants to make visits to the beach more enjoyable with the BEACH BAR. "While at the beach my towel kept blowing up and getting sand on me, and a nearby person shook their towel out and got more sand on me," he said. "This messy hassle caused me to look for a solution to these common beach-related problems."

This improved beach mat increases comfort and convenience at a beach. It prevents the hassle of a blown-up towel and sandy messes. It also ensures a stable, clean surface, making it easier to clean off and prepare for carrying and storage.

Ergonomic, easy to use and producible in different sizes, colors and designs, the BEACH BAR is ideal for the general population. Customization may include the addition of several accessories such as built-in Bluetooth speakers, LED lighting, solar-powered phone charger and a sun visor.

The original design was submitted to the Boston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
