"Changing the serpentine belts on late-model Volvo* and Mack* trucks with VED 13 and MP8 engines is tough work because the belts are in tight, nearly inaccessible places," said an inventor from Los Lunas, N.M. "I came up with this labor-saving tool to make the task easier."

He created a prototype for the BELT TENSION RELEASING TOOL to Provides a more efficient way to change the serpentine belt on the engines of these late-model trucks. It easily releases the tensioner on the pulley. This is designed to enhance personal safety. The device is easy to install and use. Additionally, the tool features durable construction.

*InventHelp is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by Volvo or Mack, the manufacturers of VED 13 and MP8 engines, which hold trademarks.
