InventHelp Inventor Develops Apparel for Breast-Cancer Sufferers (MOZ-189)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) June 20, 2014 -- "After undergoing a mastectomy to treat breast cancer, I realized that I needed bottles in order to capture the drainage," said an inventor from Sumrall, Miss. "The hospital did not provide me with a device to carry the bottles home, so I had to develop my own solution."
She created a prototype for the patent-pending Breast Cancer Apron to offer a better method to store tubes and drains after a mastectomy. The design saves the woman from having to hold tubes/drains in hand.
This allows for freedom of movement. The accessory makes it easier to return home after a mastectomy. Additionally, it eliminates potential embarrassment and allows the drain tubes to hang straight, therefore lessening the pain.
The original design was submitted to the mobile office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
