Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is submitting this idea, the Campfire Helper, to companies for their potential consideration.

Sitting around a campfire can be very relaxing except for all those times when someone has to get up and stoke the fire. Fortunately, an inventor from Cheektowaya, N.Y., has discovered a way to keep that fire blazing on its own.

He developed Campfire Helper to provide oxygen to a campfire quickly and easily. It is versatile for use with outdoor fire pits and indoor fireplaces as well. Furthermore, it eliminates the need to manually stoke the fire. It, therefore, saves time, effort and frustration. At the same time, it eliminates the risk of getting burned, inhaling smoke or hyperventilating. Besides that, it is convenient, safe and affordably priced. It is also easy to assemble and operate. In addition, it is durable for years of effective use.

The inventor’s personal experiences while camping inspired the idea. “I was tired of having to fan the embers and blow on them every time I needed to start a campfire,” he said. “I wanted to find an easier way to stoke the fire.”

The original design was submitted to the Rochester office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
