Storage and Retrieval Unit Invented for Cane Users - Designed by InventHelp Client (QCY-207)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 18, 2015 -- While canes are effective in helping those with limited mobility walk unassisted, they are difficult to keep handy yet out of the way when not in use. Fortunately, an inventor from Salisbury, N.C., has found a way to solve that problem.
He developed CANE CADDIE to provide a temporary storage place for a cane when not in use. It not only keeps cane readily accessible but prevents cane from falling on the floor. As a result, it eliminates the fall risk incurred when the user tries to pick up the cane from the floor. At the same time, it keeps the cane clean and germ free, particularly in public restrooms and other public areas. It also increases the user’s independence since he or she no longer needs assistance to store and retrieve the cane. In addition, it is convenient, easy to use and affordably priced.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “After suffering an injury and having to rely on a cane for walking, I often had difficulty finding a place to keep the cane for easy access without having it fall on the floor,” he said. “I needed somewhere to store the cane, especially around the bed and in the bathroom.”
