A leading inventor service company, InventHelp, is working to submit the Child Alert Sensor to companies for their review.

"Throughout the years, especially during the summertime, we have all heard news of terrible accidents where a parent or caretaker forgets a little one in the back seat," said a pair of inventors from Bakersfield, Calif. "A parent's worst nightmare comes true, and the child dies. According to the department of geosciences from San Francisco State University, an average of 38 children die per year. We came up with this idea to prevent these terrifying accidents."

They developed the Child Alert Sensor to prevent a child from being left in a vehicle unattended. The unit ensures that the driver remembers to take the child out of the car seat when exiting the vehicle. This reduces the risk of injury and death, which is designed to enhance child safety. The system provides added peace of mind to parents and caregivers. In addition, it features automatic operation.

The original design was submitted to the San Francisco office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
