InventHelp, based in Pittsburgh, is working to submit the Child Alert to companies for their consideration and feedback.

Thinking about all of the babies that have died due to being left behind in vehicles, an inventor from Hollywood, Calif., decided that there needs to be a reliable way to prevent such awful tragedies.

The patent-pending Child Alert prevents a child from behind left behind in an unattended vehicle. This helps avoid fatalities, as well as promotes safety and peace of mind. The invention is easy to use, and suitable for all drivers and school vans.

The original design was submitted to the Hollywood office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
