"I love deep frying a turkey, but on windy and/or cool days, it is hard to get the cooking oil hot enough," said an inventor from Springfield, Ohio. "Also, the whole process can be messy and leave behind oil stains on the driveway. This inspired me to develop a better way to deep fry a turkey."
He created a prototype for the Clean Save Safe Barrel to allow the cooking oil to reach the appropriate temperature more efficiently. The unit keeps wind from diminishing the flame. It also stops oil splatters to prevent stains. The invention makes deep-frying a turkey safer and easier. Furthermore, the unit can be set up and used almost anywhere.
