Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, Computer Laptop Tables, to companies for review.

An inventor form Corona Del Mar, Calif., was inspired with her design after experiencing the hassle of not having a table on which to place her laptop and being relegated to keeping it on her lap. "My husband always puts the notebook PC on his lap, which isn't healthy," she said.

She created the patent-pending Computer Laptop Tables to makes it more convenient and comfortable to use a laptop in a wide variety of locations. It eliminates the need to find a table, as well as avoids having to place the laptop on one’s lap. It also fits in most chairs that may be too big for other kind of laptop tables. Easy to use, easy to carry (due to its collapsible design) and producible in design variations, it's ideal for travelers, businesspeople, students, insurance agents, salespeople, etc.

The original design was submitted to the Orange County office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
