Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Safety Accessory for Crane Operators (FLA-2607)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 14, 2015 -- "As a crane operator, I know how difficult it is to make lifts in the blind, when you can no longer see what you are lifting or where you are placing the load," said an inventor from Loxahatchee, Fla. "I came up with this idea so we as crane operators could see what we're lifting while operating in the blind in order to make our lifts safely, while taking signals from a qualified signal person."
He developed the visual CRANE CAM to assist the crane operator to see what he or she is doing while taking signals from a qualified signal person. This assists the operator to make lifts in the blind. The unit assists the operator to ensure that the load is lifted and transported safely by having another set of eyes on the load being lifted. It also prevents loads from being dropped or damaged from improper rigging. The device minimizes the risk of injuries on the job site by having another set of eyes on the load being lifted so as to help the rigger or signal person of something they might have overlooked. Furthermore, it offers added peace of mind to the crane operator. The idea is patent pending.
