Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, Dekker Gun Cleaning Kit, to companies for review.

With an increasing number of hunters taking to the woods, it is more important than ever before that their guns be in top operating condition. Thanks to two inventors from Goose Creek, S.C., keeping guns clean is much easier than in the past.

They developed DEKKER GUN CLEANING KIT to fulfill the need for a handy set of distinctive tools required to maintain the effectiveness of a gun. It not only provides quick and easy access to gun cleaning supplies but promotes greater firing accuracy of the weapons. Furthermore, it reduces the chance of accidents and injuries due to gun malfunction. At the same time, it improves marksmanship skills for the user. Furthermore, it saves time and effort by keeping everything needed in one place. It is also sturdy, compact, lightweight, portable and easy to carry and store. In addition, it reduces wear and tear on gun equipment, even with repeated firing.

The inventors' personal experience inspired this idea. "As a hunter," one of them said, "I have been in a position many times when this idea would have been beneficial. It can be used, for instance, while a hunter is at virtually any remote location."

The original design was submitted to the Columbia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
