A leading invention firm, InventHelp is working to submit the DIABETIC CELL PHONE to applicable companies for review.

Diabetics face the challenge of keeping their glucose levels within a healthy range on a daily basis. Until now, the only way they could do this was to carry a glucose meter with them. Fortunately, an inventor from Thomasville, N.C., has found an easier method of managing this disease.

He developed DIABETIC CELL PHONE to allow diabetics to test their glucose level on their cell phones. As such, it eliminates the need to carry a separate glucose meter. Also, since it automatically stores multiple glucose readings for later review, it is no longer necessary to keep paper logs or manually key in this data. This device saves considerable time and effort and is cost efficient, reliable and easy to use. In addition it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.

The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “I wanted to help a family member who has severe diabetes but doesn’t test her glucose level as often as she should,” he said, “because she doesn’t like to carry her glucose meter with her.”

The original design was submitted to the Durham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
