InventHelp Inventors Develop Special Hamper for Children (KPD-148)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) February 14, 2014 -- Most times, parents and caregivers resort to yelling or nagging when it comes to training their children how to do household chores on their own. As we all know, this does not tend to work out well, which is why two inventors from New Castle, Del., came up with a better way to teach children the value of hard work.
They developed the Digital Clothes Hamper to encourage children to put their dirty clothes in the hamper. The accessory helps children look forward to tidying their rooms, instead of thinking it is a boring, tedious job.
The device uses positive reinforcement and eliminates negative nagging, yelling or arguing between parents and children. The hamper teaches children to be responsible, and it makes picking up after oneself rewarding for the child. In addition, the invention is producible in various sizes and colors.
The inventors' personal experience provided the inspiration for their idea. "It is always a chore trying to get our children to keep their rooms neat and asking them for help," one inventor said. "But if they can do it themselves and have fun doing it, it helps us as parents while also making our children more responsible."
The original design was submitted to the King of Prussia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
