Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is attempting to submit the DSL Face Shield to companies for their consideration.

"Years ago I went through radiation treatment for a brain tumor, so my skin was extra-sensitive to sunlight," said an inventor from North Highlands, Calif. "This gave me the idea for the DSL FACE SHIELD."

This accessory protects the entire face from sunlight in an optimal manner. It blocks harmful UV rays, which helps prevent sunburn, discomfort and skin cancer. Overall, it promotes peace of mind. The accessory is easy to use and ideal for people undergoing radiation treatment, people with skin conditions, joggers, boaters, outdoors enthusiasts, military personnel, etc.

The original design was submitted to the Sacramento office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
